Living Sustainability Easier For Wealthy
Canadians believe it is easier to live sustainably if you are wealthy. A survey from ESG (environmental, social, and governance) reporting software company Onyen Corporation found four in five respondents believe this with 83 per cent of 18- to 34-year olds and 75 per cent of those over 55 sharing this view. Canadians are also committed to living sustainably, even if it comes with additional cost or a change in the way they like to live. It shows 81 per cent of respondents indicated willingness to keep their cell phone for an extra year or two to benefit the environment. However, only 38 per cent they felt strongly about this commitment.
